Charter College is a private institution approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education. Approval to operate means the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations.

Charter College – Anchorage and Billings have received the necessary authorization from the Board of Regents of the Montana University System to offer postsecondary degree programs in the State of Montana.

Charter Institute, a Division of Charter College – Farmington is state authorized to operate by the New Mexico Higher Education Department, 2044 Galisteo Street, Suite 4, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505-2100, (505) 476-8400, to offer certificates.

Charter College – Anchorage is approved to offer online programs to New Mexico students in compliance with the Post-Secondary Educational Institution Act of the New Mexico Higher Education Department, 2044 Galisteo Street, Suite 4, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505-2100, (505) 476-8400.

Charter College – Salt Lake is state registered to operate by the State of Utah, Department of Commerce, Division of Consumer Protection, 160 East 300 South, 2nd Floor, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-6704, (801) 530-6601. REGISTERED UNDER THE UTAH POSTSECONDARY PROPRIETARY SCHOOL ACT (Title 13, Chapter 34, Utah Code). Registration under the Utah Postsecondary Proprietary School Act does not mean that the State of Utah supervises, recommends, nor accredits the institution. It is the student’s responsibility to determine whether credits, degrees, or certificates from the institution will transfer to other institutions or meet employers’ training requirements. This may be done by calling the prospective school or employer.

Charter College – Vancouver is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institutions Act. This authorization is subject to periodic review and authorizes Charter College to offer specific degree programs.
