Military
Turn your military skills into a rewarding career
Many members of the military have found their ideal fit at Charter College, both for their post-secondary education and their own career goals. At Charter College, we enroll many veterans and active service members, as well as their dependents. A number of veterans have also chosen to build their post-military careers at Charter College as instructors.
There are several reasons why Charter College is such a good match for military personnel and their dependents, including our program flexibility, a professional and structured learning environment, and highly relevant education programs. Whether you are looking to expand on the skills you developed in the military, or begin a new career, Charter College has the career-focused programs to get you where you want to be tomorrow.
Cost of Attendance is the estimated cost to attend Charter College for the academic year. Financial Aid provides estimates for cost of attendance that include the direct costs of tuition as well as the indirect costs such as living expenses (housing and food), transportation and miscellaneous personal expenses.
Veterans and Military Tuition Assistance Benefits
Charter College offers many programs eligible for education benefits through the GI Bill® and Military Tuition Assistance programs. The college provides education benefits to both veterans, active duty, dependents, National Guard, and Reservists. Education benefits may vary based on the type of service and length of time in the military.
In order to determine eligibility, all students seeking to using veteran’s or Tuition Assistant benefits will be scheduled to meet with a representative from the Financial Aid Office. The representative will assist students in completing all required forms needed to secure the education benefit. A review of transcript will also take place during this meeting. Students with previous post-secondary education must request transcripts and have them evaluated for possible transfer credit.

Reasonable Accommodation & Disability
Students may experience educational, personal, or financial problems during their enrollment. The College welcomes the opportunity to assist students in working out solutions to these problems. Students experiencing difficulties in these areas are advised to contact the Student Academic Advisor.
Charter College is committed to the academic and personal support of all of our students. The Student Academic Advisor can assist students with finding resources for ride sharing, housing referrals, and child care services.
Student Success Coaching is available for students who need additional assistance in their studies. Upon the request of the student, faculty members are available for help. Students who need assistance should contact their instructor or Education Department.
Charter College seeks the success of all students, including those who may be experiencing disabilities. Toward that end, Charter College will work with students to determine what, if any, accommodations might be available. However, Charter College also expects students to be active participants in this process. Accordingly, students who have an impairment that qualifies as a disability requiring an accommodation should contact the Campus Manager/ADA Coordinator either upon enrollment or as soon as it becomes apparent that assistance may be necessary.
