After working in the public school system for 10 years, I decided it was time to go back to school and make a much needed change in my life. I started the MA program in August of 2023, I was 4 weeks into my second mod and suffered a stroke. My medical team told me I would need to take six months off, I took 5 weeks off and returned in December of 2023. I am grateful for my instructors, their support, kindness along with their dedication to help me complete the program was outstanding and with that I not only completed the program but I completed on the Dean’s list.
