I was hired at my externship site, and it has been amazing. My site has been so welcoming and has taught me so much. I really love what I am doing now. I even celebrated my birthday at my site, and I came into work with my desk all decorated and presents from my coworkers. I had only been there for about 6-7 weeks, and they went out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday. The funny part of my site is that I was a patient there when I was a kid. I have actually been able to work with my old pediatrician and he always makes jokes about me when I was a kid.
