In partnership with Charter College, the C4L Program allows you to train for a career while you pursue your high school diploma. When you graduate from the program, you earn two diplomas and are prepared to pursue a vocation in Business, Health Care, Information Technology, Trades, or Veterinary Assistant. Benefits of C4L Program
- Online Instruction—You’re much busier than you were in high school. You may have a family and a job, which means you need flexibility in your class schedule. With online instruction, you can complete your classes at your convenience, from the comfort of your own home.
- Hands-On Learning—For your certificate program, participate in hands-on learning that gives you experience and puts your classroom knowledge into practice.
- Success Coaching—To ensure you keep up with your academics and access the resources you need, you will be paired with a success coach. This person will provide support, answer your questions, and help you stay on track as you work toward dual diplomas.
Perhaps the biggest benefit of the program is that you don’t have to pay for the high school diploma. C4L is offered at no charge to students who enroll in a career training program. The only requirement is that you take the and pass the ACCUPLACER ATB test which verifies that you are ready to continue your education.
Qualified C4L Training Career Training Programs
Business: You could earn a certificate in Business Office Administration and be ready for an entry-level career in a business office. In this role, you ensure that a front office runs smoothly. You answer phones and emails, manage administrative calendars, take meeting minutes, and file important documents.
Information Technology: If you’re tech savvy and have an interest in design, a certificate in Computer Aided Design could help you launch a new career. Drafters and CAD operators can work across industries. Working with AutoCAD software, you create 2D drawings and 3D models in the architecture, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
Veterinary Assistant: Do you love animals? Earn a certificate in Veterinary Assistant to enter the field. In this job, you help the veterinarian during exams and procedures, keep animals calm when they visit the office, and bathe and groom animals that stay overnight.
Trades: A certificate in a Trade, such as HVAC/R or Welding, could open you up to a whole new career. As an HVAC technician, you install, service, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in commercial or residential settings. You could also work as a welder in construction, shipbuilding, or pipeline installation, maintenance, and repair.
