Christy Ruiz
Dean of Education

Christy Ruiz serves as Dean of Education at Charter College, where she leads academic operations and supports the delivery of programs across campuses and online environments. Christy has been with Charter College for more than 12 years as an Instructor, Career Services Officer, Student Success Officer, and Program Manager. With a strong background in business, leadership, and higher education, she brings extensive experience in faculty development, curriculum quality, and student success. Christy works closely with academic teams to strengthen instructional practices, support faculty, and ensure programs meet established standards. Her leadership helps create learning environments that are structured, engaging, and focused on student outcomes.

Christy earned her Master of Business Administration in Human Resources from Everest University Online and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management and Marketing from California State University San Marcos, as well as an Associate of Arts in Psychology from North Idaho College. Along with her work at Charter College, she serves as an evaluator for the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), contributing her expertise to support quality and accountability in healthcare higher education. Christy’s immeasurable experience helps her structure a positive learning environment at every Charter campus.
