Why Charter Career Academy?

Charter Career Academy’s programs focus on occupations that are in-demand.

Each is described by the Department of Labor as having a “Bright Outlook,” meaning they are expected to grow rapidly in the next several years or will have large and growing numbers of job openings

Charter Career Academy lets students start learning immediately, rather than waiting on predefined semester schedules.

Students can pay for and start programs within minutes of their decision to learn or within minutes of confirmation of third-party funding.

One of the primary goals of Charter Career Academy’s programs is to make earning an industry certification significantly less expensive than a traditional academic pathway to the same career.

Students must be at least 18 years of age and have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent to enroll. Otherwise, there are no prerequisites.

The program cost includes:

  • In-demand occupation-specific program materials, virtual simulations, e-books, and, where applicable, lab fees.
  • Support from our Student Support and Career Services teams.
  • The cost of exam preparation, practice exams, and your certification exam (first attempt).

Charter Career Academy’s programs are self-paced and typically take 2-6 months to complete, assuming you dedicate 16 hours a week to coursework. You have the flexibility to set your own schedule, as our courses are accessible 24/7. If you require a more relaxed schedule, we can often accommodate that as well.

Our programs are associated with industry-recognized certifications. Certification authorities include the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), the AAMI Credentials Institute (ACI), and CompTIA.

Whether you can enroll depends on your program of interest. For most Charter Career Academy programs, the answer is “Yes.” However, enrollment in programs that necessitate a lab course and/or an externship is generally limited to the states of Nevada, Utah, and Idaho.
